From workshops to workplaces (2024-2027)

The ongoing program “from workshops to workplaces” aim at carving a path to income generation and employment through the empowerment of young vulnerable women from low-income communities in the carpentry industry. DROSOS Foundation is supporting us with 324k€ for a 424k€ program that has three main pillars articulated around capacity building and skills empowerment, bridging the gap between formal and non-formal education with the development of an expanded curriculum that encompasses technical and technological skills, computer literacy, prototyping and creativity, and ultimately facilitating job placement and entrepreneurship to create a concrete bridge between training and economic integration and participation. This initiative is reinforcing opportunities to support vulnerable women in professional orientation, and encourages their participation in a project that provides employment opportunities.
