To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the AFD in Lebanon, the Beirut agency plans to distribute gifts to participants, produced by a partner who is leading an innovative and transformative project within the local community. For this, AFD decided to collaborate with Warchée, an initiative dedicated to empowering women through training and professional integration in carpentry, a field traditionally reserved for men. This collaboration reflects AFD’s commitment to supporting projects that create a lasting positive impact, particularly for women. In this context, AFD produced 200 wooden objects selected from the ‘Out of the Box’ collection, which focuses on recycled Beech wood and features modular products with multiple uses.
